I’ve come within clicks of deleting my tumblr all together because of what it has turned in to. “The myspace crowd took over, it’s a bunch of 16 year old girls..” whatever your excuse or reasoning is, yes, it isn’t the cool little micro-blog community of design heads it used to be. Most of what there is to stumble upon is self-absorbed, socialite, omg-I love/hate-mattjordan dreck. But that’s why I don’t dig around out of boredom anymore. Flickr always has been and always will be much better for that. There’s a difference between ignoring stupid behavior and choosing to not acknowledge it. In other words, Fuck all of you. Especially you who feel self-righteous enough to perpetuate the ignorance and stupidity by playing the slam-book game. I’m doing it right now, yes, but while I’m not singling anyone out- you wouldn’t have seen this had I just posted it on mine.
